Preventive maintenance

Maintenance you can plan around

Scheduled inspections and service for one vehicle or a whole fleet, with a record of every visit so problems show up early.

Two inspection levels

Use the RMI for regular visits and the CMI when you need the full picture of a vehicle’s condition.

RMI
30+point inspection

Routine Maintenance Inspection

Regular checks that catch small problems and build the service history, without a long visit.

  • Engine oil and filter service
  • Mileage documentation and fluid checks
  • Leak, belt and hose inspection
  • Tire pressure, tread depth, condition and wear
  • Brake condition and exterior lighting
  • Wipers, washers and warning lights
  • Battery and charging system checks
  • Diagnostic code scan when appropriate
  • Underhood and undervehicle inspection
  • Upcoming maintenance and repair needs
CMI
60+point inspection

Comprehensive Maintenance Inspection

A deeper condition review to prioritize repairs, assess major systems and plan the work ahead.

  • Everything in the RMI that applies
  • Complete brake system inspection
  • Steering, suspension, wheel bearings and hubs
  • Tires, wheels, driveline and axles
  • Engine and transmission leaks
  • Cooling system, belts, hoses and tensioners
  • Battery, starting and charging systems
  • Exhaust and fuel system inspection
  • Chassis, frame and underbody condition
  • Engine air filter and cabin filter where fitted
  • Lighting, safety equipment, wipers and washers
  • Warning lights and diagnostic trouble codes
  • Maintenance due by time or mileage
  • Developing wear and likely repairs

These are examples of inspection areas, not the complete shop checklists. Checks vary with the vehicle and the service interval, and recommendations are based on condition.

What we keep track of

The longer the history, the more useful each visit becomes. Work can be combined with scheduled service when it makes sense.

Service history
Mileage, completed work, inspection findings, recurring problems and maintenance schedules for each vehicle.
Tire condition
Pressure, tread depth, damage and uneven wear, so replacements can be planned and wear patterns checked for other causes.
State inspection dates
We track Massachusetts safety and emissions inspection due dates. A CMI beforehand can find problems that would stop a vehicle from passing. The official state inspection itself is separate.

We plan around the work a vehicle does, not just the next number on the odometer. That means mileage, operating hours where they apply, the manufacturer’s schedule, load and towing, seasonal use, age and past repairs.

Start with one vehicle or the whole fleet. You can also book a single service without joining a recurring program.
